Job Responsibilities

  1. Monthly Payroll processing and support for Japan – complete cycle.

  2. Resolution and closure of open items received from employees and the client hub team as well as CRs and SCRs received on time.

  3. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of the payroll processing function in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  4. Ensure full compliance with Payroll Statutory Compliance requirements for Japan including statutory updates research, payroll queries resolution and compliance framework development.

  5. Prepare and submit reports in accordance with (SLAs) and SLA performance maintenance.

  6. Work closely with the Technical, Statutory Compliance Unit and Change Request teams.

  7. Attend to employee and client payroll queries.

  8. Undertake other such reasonable duties as required by the Management.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Certificate/Advance Diploma/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or HR.

  2. Good written and verbal communication skills in Japanese required

  3. Strong MS Excel skills, IT knowledge and/or global payroll experience are an added advantage.

  4. At least 1-2 years’ experience in HR/Finance/Payroll.

  5. At least 1 year’s experience in pure Payroll processing HC 500 and above.

  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, fast learner, independent and a good team player.

  7. Punctual, responsible in taking ownership of jobs assigned, ready to work under pressure.

Salary: RM5,000 - RM 6,000
