Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for payroll processing function effectively within a Global Shared Services environment.

  2. Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements.

  3. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of payroll processing in accordance with the Service Level Agreement.

  4. Prepare and submit reports, including statutory reports, as per the Service Level Agreement.

  5. Prepare payroll calendar.

  6. Update shift schedules, public holidays, and annual leave carryovers.

  7. Participate in new payroll project implementations.

  8. Participate in user acceptance tests and mock runs.

  9. Validate payroll reports, prepare bank files, pay-slips, and statutory reports.

  10. Attend to employees' and clients' payroll queries.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma holder in any field of study.

  2. 2 years of experience in Accounts, Finance, or IT is an added advantage.

  3. Experience in running global payroll and hands-on experience with PeopleSoft payroll system is an added advantage.

  4. Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel.

  5. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  6. Attention to detail, alertness, and responsibility.

  7. Proficiency in speaking and writing Japanese.
