Payroll Analyst (Malaysia Office) Location: Main Office (OS HRS Sdn Bhd), Wisma UOA Damansara II

Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for payroll processing function effectively within Global Shared Services environment.
  2. Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements.
  3. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of payroll processing function in accordance with Service Level Agreement.
  4. Prepare and submit reports, statutory reports in accordance with Service Level Agreement.
  5. Prepare payroll calendar.
  6. Update shift and new year, public holidays, and annual leave carry over.
  7. Participate in new payroll project implementation.
  8. Participate in user acceptance test and Mock Run.
  9. Validate payroll report, preparation of bank file, pay-slip and statutory reports.
  10. Attend to employees and client’s payroll queries.

Job Requirements

  1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Finance/Accounting / HR or any other fields.
  2. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and good interpersonal skills.
  3. Punctual, responsible to take ownership of job assigned and ready to work under pressure.

Purpose

Key Accountabilities

  1. Meeting project objectives.
  2. Leading & providing advice on the management of projects.
  3. Representing the client’s or organisation’s interests.
  4. Working closely with the various professional people working on a project.
  5. Carrying out risk assessment.
  6. Making sure the quality standards are met.
  7. Using IT systems to keep track of people and progress.
  8. Overseeing the accounting, costing and billings.

Qualifications/Skills/Behaviors

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Business Administration or any other fields.
  2. Professional Certification Project Management / Risk Management (Optional).
  3. Hands on experience in Project Management / Project Implementation (Min 5 yrs.).
  4. Experience working on project testing on documentation is preferred.
  5. Knowledge in Payroll Operation / Payroll Project Implementation will be added advantage
  6. Knowledge in Employee Self Service application (ESS) will be added advantage.
  7. Knowledge in Risk Management will be added advantage.

Job Purpose

  1. Provides additional support to the Project Manager.
  2. Assists with project’s documentation and updates.
  3. Drives tasks for completion and maintain schedules as per approved project plan.
  4. Implements project administrative tasks according to requirements.
  5. Supports project team to successful QA testing as per project plan.
  6. Prepare of User Manual and Visual Manual (ESS).
  7. Prepare Test Plan & Test Script for functional test (UI Upgrade).
